Welcome to iSabi ("the Platform"), operated from Nigeria at isabi.com.ng. By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use iSabi.
iSabi is a marketplace and portfolio platform that connects freelancers ("Talent") with people and businesses looking to hire ("Clients"). Talent can build public portfolios, publish fixed-price service packages, and apply to jobs. Clients can post jobs, order services, and communicate with Talent.
You must provide accurate information when registering and keep your login details secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country, to use the Platform. One person may hold both freelancer and client capabilities under a single account.
iSabi does not currently process, hold, or guarantee payments. When a Client orders a service or hires Talent, payment is arranged directly between the two parties (for example by bank transfer). iSabi is not a party to that transaction and is not responsible for non-payment, non-delivery, refunds, or disputes between users. We strongly recommend agreeing on clear terms in writing (through the Platform inbox) before any money changes hands, and never paying in full upfront to someone you have not worked with before.
You agree not to: post false, misleading, or plagiarised content; impersonate another person or business; post illegal jobs or services; harass, spam, or defraud other users; manipulate reviews or endorsements; scrape or copy the Platform or its data; or attempt to bypass Platform security. We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that break these rules, at our discretion.
You keep ownership of the content you post (portfolios, service listings, job posts, messages, reviews) and grant iSabi a non-exclusive licence to display it on the Platform and in promotional contexts (for example, featuring a public profile). Reviews may only be left after a completed order and must reflect a genuine experience. We may remove reviews that are fraudulent, abusive, or violate these Terms.
Creating an account, building a portfolio, posting jobs, publishing services, and applying to jobs are currently free. We may introduce paid features or commissions in the future; if we do, they will be clearly announced and will not apply retroactively to completed transactions.
The Platform is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that any Talent is qualified, that any Client will pay, that any job or service listing is genuine, or that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. Verification badges, where present, indicate that specific checks were completed and are not a guarantee of quality or trustworthiness.
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, iSabi and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Platform, including losses from transactions between users. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (such as liability and content licences for already-published material) survive.
We may update these Terms as the Platform evolves. Material changes will be announced on the Platform. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
